Dungeons and Dragons and trapped secret doors,
Rangers and fighters and mages and dwarves,
These are a few of my favorite things.
That's why to them, this song I sing.

Bugbears and wraiths and werewolves that bite,
All kinds of beasties that strike in the night,
Great giant bats with great giant wings,
These are a few of the scariest things.

Gold pieces and silver, and plus one swords,
Jewels, and potions, and riches to horde,
We hope to find on our epic quest.
This is the play at its very best.

When the orcs hack,
When the trolls slash,
And I'm hit real bad,
I try to remember it's only a game
But then I feel just as bad!
